Hello, participants of the BlockWorks Digital Asset Summit. It is an honor to discuss how America will lead in cryptocurrency and the next generation of financial technology.

This is not an easy task, but we are already far ahead. Just two weeks ago, we held the first-ever White House Digital Asset Summit, gathering many leading figures from the global cryptocurrency industry. That meeting was hosted by our White House AI and Cryptocurrency Director David Sacks, who is an outstanding and talented individual.

In the same week, I also signed an order to create a new Bitcoin strategic reserve and U.S. digital asset reserve, which will enable the federal government to maximize the value of its holdings, rather than selling them at prices far below their long-term value, as Biden foolishly does. He only receives a small portion of the value of these assets.

We will end the previous administration's war on cryptocurrency and Bitcoin regulation, which includes stopping the illegal operation "Operation Chokepoint 2.0." Operation Chokepoint exceeded the bounds of regulation, going far beyond, and one could even say it was a legal battle using government weapons. Frankly, it is a disgrace. But starting January 20, 2025, all of this will come to an end.

I also urge Congress to pass landmark legislation to establish simple, common-sense rules for stablecoins and market structure.
