This video was completed some time ago, and the content of the interview with Can exceeded my expectations. The original plan was to chat for about an hour and edit it down to around 12 minutes, but we ended up talking for four hours. Can shared a lot of insider information about exchanges, especially as someone who was directly involved in the Coinbase listing. His understanding of exchanges and compliance far surpassed my expectations.

I interviewed Can because I was very curious about the experiences during the FTX period, and Can was also the compliance officer at FTX. He even recently acquired FTX's European branch, taking on all its debts. It was only after the interview that I learned that the European branch still had such ample funds.

Currently, as the compliance officer at BackPack, Can also shared many of his previous ideas from FTX that were not implemented, which could allow an exchange to operate more compliantly and stably. This includes how to address security issues with funds, how to issue tokens and stocks simultaneously in a compliant manner, and the current points system at BackPack.

After communicating with the BackPack team, we decided to release Can's interview in several episodes, focusing on hearing Can discuss some insider information about exchanges, including how Coinbase still maintains the opportunity to issue tokens compliantly.

Chatting with Can was the first time I felt that the information could be valuable not only to friends but also to real industry professionals. This is just the first episode, and many more insider details will gradually be revealed.
