RedStone Airdrop Controversy
On the evening of March 6, Binance officially announced that due to the RedStone (RED) project team’s sudden change to the community airdrop allocation plan, Binance has suspended the planned trading launch of RedStone, originally set for March 6, 2025, at 21:00, with the resumption time to be determined. This is the first time Binance has announced a suspension after a project was listed.
RedStone subsequently announced an immediate change to the RED airdrop selection process and allocation. In the first Miner airdrop, it allocated 5% of the total supply of RED, and now it will additionally allocate 2% of the total supply of RED from "ecosystem and data providers" to recognize the contributions of community members who were overlooked in the initial airdrop allocation.
