Concise and correct viewpoints

Concise and correct viewpoints are especially important in the crypto space. Only when the founder remains at the forefront, not prioritizing profit as the highest goal, while maintaining absolute control to respond to the rapidly changing market—this is a simple understanding, but it generally requires taking more detours to achieve.

For a product to make decisions that are reasonable and quick, it cannot rely on widely soliciting opinions or a democratic style; it can only be led by the strongest person. That strength is not measured by academic qualifications or high financing; in the crypto space, there is only one standard: whether one is sufficiently degen, whether they are close to the community, and whether they value users.

Interestingly, which founder or executive would think they are not close to the community, do not value users, or do not understand the market? I believe hardly anyone thinks this way, especially when everyone can spout a lot of empty and useless theories out of thin air. Not only do investors and users think they truly understand, but even they themselves feel they understand.

So how can we judge whether they truly understand? If you are making on-chain products, how well are you doing on-chain? If you are close to the community, how many communities do you have? How much have you communicated with frontline users? This is not just about mechanically counting how many groups you have joined.

From my perspective, some project founders, and even business people, are not even on my radar, which indicates a lack of discernment and independent thinking. If they cannot even figure out Twitter, distinguishing between experts and novices, how can you expect them to create good products and communities? This may sound arrogant, but it is just my sincerity. I personally do not care how others understand it, nor do I care who pays attention; it is just an example, so do not overthink it.

Of course, the most terrifying or, shall I say, the most foolish type is when someone who has never started a business thinks they understand better than I do. In fact, this is the reason why "many people mistakenly think they understand"—they are always overly focused on titles, experiences, and backgrounds, while neglecting the facts. For instance, I have only discussed "understanding the market and being close to the community," and the arguments for these two points are not difficult to contemplate—so, the flaws in thinking models are the reason why many products in the crypto space are garbage.
