Yesterday, the Monad testnet was officially announced to be live, with testnet features dynamically upgrading in sync with the mainnet.
As a leading parallel EVM, Monad aims to improve and enhance the execution efficiency of EVM on Layer 1 networks through parallel processing, thereby unleashing the potential of the EVM ecosystem.
The official white paper states that Monad can achieve processing capabilities of up to 10,000 TPS, comparable to Solana's performance, while being 100% bytecode compatible with Ethereum, meaning Ethereum smart contracts can easily migrate to run on Monad. Imagine a future where Solana and ETH are integrated.
The primary market has already recognized Monad's potential. In April, Monad Labs announced the completion of a $225 million financing round led by Paradigm, the largest cryptocurrency financing so far this year, with a total funding of $244 million.

1. Link Wallet and Claim Test Tokens
1.1 Configure Wallet

1.2 Claim Test Tokens
After connecting your wallet on the Monad testnet official website, link your wallet to claim test tokens.
Different allocation rules apply based on address interaction records, and the official token distribution rules are as follows:
It is recommended to join the Monad Discord community, verify your account, and remain active to earn the Monad role, as Monad places great importance on community building. Active community members may receive many implicit benefits in the future. (However, the verification BOT is currently congested, so you may need to try several times.)
**Note: The official token claiming channel can be accessed once every 12 hours. It is recommended to complete Discord identity verification first to increase your quota. 2. Ecosystem Experience
2.1 Trading Tokens
Through the Monad official website or Uniswap testnet mode, you can use the test token $MON to exchange for other tokens. Be sure to allocate your $MON wisely; it is recommended to buy a little of all three tokens.
Purchase on the official website: Scroll down on the claiming page and purchase directly.
Purchase on Uniswap: You need to enable testnet mode in the settings, then connect your wallet and input the token contract for trading.
2.2 Ecosystem Application Interaction
The official Monad Ecosystem Page has also updated the projects that have launched on the testnet. This time, we will demonstrate interaction with two projects: Fantasy Top and Kuru.
- Fantasy Top
Currently, the only highlighted project listed on the Monad testnet homepage is Fantasy Top. Fantasy Top is a card game that incorporates SocialFi elements, featuring KOL cards with social media influence. Players can purchase cards with $MON to combine and battle, allowing for direct experience.

Click to register and log in to the game using your Google or X account.
Once in the application, a dedicated wallet will be automatically generated. You can transfer the previously claimed test tokens $MON to Fantasy Top's built-in wallet to purchase cards. The built-in wallet address can be viewed through the personal settings page:
Click on the store to use $MON to purchase game currency Fragments. Fragments are used to buy card packs, and once a certain number of card packs are opened, you can participate in a spin-the-wheel lottery. The card pack purchase page also allows you to participate in daily sign-in lotteries (this is free).
Not only can you open card packs, but the built-in market allows for free trading of cards, priced in $MON:
Once you have five cards to form a deck, users can participate in tournaments. After registering on the homepage, select different levels to compete; the higher the level, the more generous the rewards.
- Kuru Exchange
KuruExchange is Monad's native decentralized order book exchange. Its Central Limit Order Book (CLOB) provides better performance than AMM, allowing market makers to actively quote liquidity, offering users better prices and lower slippage.
Previously, participation in Kuru was only possible by joining the Discord community, but it is now open for testnet experience.

Register by connecting your wallet. After logging in with your wallet, a dedicated Kuru wallet will also be generated. You need to transfer $MON to the new wallet or deposit $MON through the Deposit interface; both methods are effective.
After depositing $MON, select the MON/USDC trading pair on the homepage to trade. First, exchange $MON for $USDC, then exchange $USDC back to $MON. You can repeat this several times, but there will be some wear and tear.
You can also click the pet egg icon in the upper right corner to randomly obtain a pet and draw some cards (the specific use is unknown).
In addition to participating in various application interactions, the current daily tasks include being actively engaged on Discord, as well as regularly visiting the official website and the OKX faucet center to claim test tokens $MON and participate in ecosystem token trading.
