Analyst Chen Shu: 2.16 Afternoon Bitcoin and Ethereum Market Strategy
- The market is in a narrow range, waiting for a breakout to provide direction.
On February 15, the afternoon article analyzed the long and short strategies for Bitcoin and Ethereum. For Bitcoin, a long position was suggested at 9.73, while for Ethereum, a long position was suggested at 2700/2650. Yesterday's market saw slight narrow fluctuations with no significant movements. From the daily chart, Bitcoin is currently oscillating between the MA5/10-day moving averages and the MA60-day moving average. The narrow range needs to focus on the breakout direction. If it can break and hold above the MA60-day moving average, it will end the short-term weak adjustment trend. On the 4-hour chart, short-term support is at the MA30/60-day moving averages, which is 9.7, while resistance is at 9.9/9.95. Additionally, on the 1-hour chart, attention should be paid to whether the price can consistently hold above the MA256-day moving average, which is above 9.7.
From the daily chart, Ethereum's price has recently remained above the MA5/10-day moving averages, while oscillating in the 2600-2800 range. On the 4-hour chart, the price is above the MA30/60-day moving averages, specifically above 2670. Attention should be paid to whether it can consistently hold above this level, and on the 1-hour chart, the focus is on whether the 2680 support is effective.

BTC: Long at 9.73, add to long on a pullback to 9.68, target 9.85/9.9; try a light short at 9.85/9.95.
ETH: Light long at 2700, add to long at 2650, target 2750/2800; follow Bitcoin for short positions.
