If Russia is a oil country disguised as a great power

If Russia is a petrostate disguised as a great power, then Brazil is a commodity nation. We can see that Brazil's GDP per capita peaked in 2011 and has since declined, which aligns perfectly with the price trends of commodity bulk goods.

When industrialization had not yet formed a competitive edge, the citizens became wealthy early on (with a per capita GDP of 11,000 in 2011, while China's is only about 12,000 now). This made Brazil a large consumer market, while the manufacturing sector had little opportunity for upgrading.

When it comes to industrial upgrades like the electronics industry, Brazilians are inherently romantic and do not like to work in factories tightening screws. Coupled with government corruption and complex procedures, Brazil cannot compete with China, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam.

Brazil is a typical representative of South America and also its destiny.

This region of South America can be said to be favored by heaven, with a great climate and abundant resources, but the rulers lack experience and have generally followed this path.
