I have to admire Kaito's products. The first appearance of Kaito Pro, although powerful in functionality, did not generate much buzz in the market due to its overly high price. However, the second product, Yaps, is completely different. It seems to have emerged over a month ago. To be honest, I have never been very interested in social projects like this; I have seen too many pitfalls in the past, so I paid no attention, even though many friends introduced it to me with little interest.
I really started to take an interest when some project team members approached me for bribery votes, which prompted me to start researching. Just as I had previously questioned, simply posting articles may not necessarily earn more points. I have posted quite a lot, and each one is related to cryptocurrency, but my score has not improved. Later, a friend reminded me that @_kaitoai's scoring system has both active and passive components.
Active scoring involves posting tweets normally, but it’s best to cover some projects in the cryptocurrency industry. If you only talk about BTC and ETH, the weight won’t be very high. This is why many BTC analysts are not on the leaderboard. However, if you focus on projects related to ETH or SOL, you will earn more points. Additionally, interacting with other high-scoring users and Smart Followers will also boost your score. Of course, many high-scoring users are themselves Smart Followers.
The downside is that these users are mostly English-centric and are not very willing to reply in the comments unless it’s someone equally well-known. Therefore, if you want to earn points in the Chinese-speaking community, you need to interact with some high-scoring users who can speak Chinese. These friends generally enjoy interacting, and there is no language barrier. Here’s a list inspired by @yuyue_chris:
- BroLeonAus @BroLeonAus
- Yuyue @yuyue_chris
- 0xWizard @0xcryptowizard
- TheCryptoSkanda @thecryptoskanda
- alvin617.eth @Alvin0617
- 0xSun @0xSunNFT
- Zhu Su @zhusu
- Jason Chen @jason_chen998
- BTCdayu @BTCdayu
- hotpot_dao @hotpot_dao
These are the top ten in the Chinese-speaking community. Interacting more with these friends can easily earn you some points, which can be used for voting in the weekly LaunchPad. Although the current rules are not very transparent and the rewards from the project team are not easily given to users, I believe that as this method flourishes, there will be more ways and incentives, especially for those who are often active on Twitter, providing an additional opportunity for easy point collection.
The passive income scheme is about bringing in new users. Interestingly, I registered for Yaps through @superdollarr's introduction. He mentioned that I could earn 2 points daily from my referrals, while I only earned 1.8 points myself yesterday. This shows that the weight given for referring other users is not low, and as more friends join, collective bribery voting can also increase the ability to gain extra points.
So, having seen all this, I completely understand that Yaps operates differently from traditional social networks. It does not require an independent platform, does not need to siphon user traffic, nor does it need to make money by helping users issue tokens. Instead, it is a B2C2B business that encourages users to speak up through points, and only by discussing projects related to high traffic can they earn more points. When users rank high and form a traffic matrix, they can negotiate with project teams for more exposure, even for LaunchPad opportunities.
To achieve better performance, project teams will also spend money and resources to bribe high-vote users to vote, thereby increasing their popularity on Twitter. Essentially, Yaps is "kidnapping" (not a derogatory term) users to earn money for project teams, thus avoiding direct competition for profits with users.
Feel free to register using my referral link; there are no commissions, just more interaction: https://yaps.kaito.ai/referral/555634740
The more you interact and post quality interactions, the more points you can earn, and I happen to enjoy interacting. You see, this is what drives us to actively help Yaps with advertising. 🤣🤣
