The valuation of $WAL can be analyzed from two aspects.

Although Walrus is built by Mysten Labs and uses Sui as a coordination layer, it is available for any builder to use, including Ethereum and Solana. This means that Walrus can directly compete with Filecoin and Arweave.

$AR: $980 million circulating market cap

$FIL: $3.1 billion circulating market cap

It is unrealistic to approach or even catch up with $FIL; in terms of market cap, $AR is the best reference for $WAL.
