Trading Insights
In the cryptocurrency space, you actually don't need a lot of starting capital; there's no need to think that you need a lot of money to play here. My initial funds were just a few hundred to a few thousand. Last year, I survived on instant noodles during my freshman year, slowly rolling that little bit of capital. Small capital strategies: 1. Less action, more observation. When we scan the chains, we can see a lot of CA (contract addresses). We should focus on the ones with the highest certainty because our money is limited. There's no need to think about trading every day. When I first entered the space, I generally didn't operate continuously; instead, I focused on building our network. Just focus on one trading opportunity; you can trade just once a day. We shouldn't let our desire for revenge be too strong; if we lose, we must earn it back. We are here to get rich, not to let daily losses or gains affect our well-being. To make a joke, when I first entered the space, I would wake up many times a day to check if my purchases had gone up, haha. This mindset and experience need to be transitioned; everyone goes through this. 2. Slow is fast. Everyone agrees that slow is fast, but what is often explained is just the surface meaning. What is really needed is not just this, but one's own research ability and judgment. What I talk about in terms of success is quite empty; it's merely my personal experience. What it involves more is improving our abilities. When you have a certain judgment after browsing many CAs in a day, lock onto one and focus on researching it. This is more friendly for small capital because it won't change your funds too quickly like PVP (player versus player). This all involves accumulation, which completely requires your own accumulation. All success theories only promote our mindset, not the process; the important thing is practice. 3. Returning to research, in fact, beginners should not think about trading methods at first, but rather improve their own networks. It's not enough to just say, "scrape platforms, scrape founder backgrounds, record smart money," to get rich. These are not things that can be glossed over; the practice and energy you need to invest are beyond what ordinary people can compare. Getting out of your comfort zone is just the beginning. The cryptocurrency space is not as easy as you imagine; 90% are traps waiting for you to jump into. You can only try and make mistakes one by one; no amount of capital is enough for trial and error. This is why many platforms now offer simulated trading; there is a reason for this, as it meets retail investor demand, while primary markets do not have this function. Some merely fantasize, going over and over in their minds, "I bought this," explaining their reasons, then hypothetically assuming they bought it, reflecting on losses and gains. At this point, the mindset is most likely to change. A lot of people regret why they didn't actually buy at that time. The psychological difference between loss and gain is 4 to 5 times. Many people can't jump over this step and then start real trading without any judgment basis. They feel pleased with short-term profits, but after losses, a revenge mentality emerges, leading to more and more losses. A calm mind is the first step. This is also why I emphasize mindset rather than explaining various operational steps, because you have no knowledge reserve.
