The New Track of Crypto in 2025 - AI Agent: Could AIA Game Bring Breakthroughs to Gaming?

Today, let's continue discussing AI agents. Yesterday, I asked some friends in the industry if there are any reliable AI agents available in different scenarios. The basic answer was: there are some in WEB2, but they still require various prompts to operate; as for WEB3 AI agents, they are mostly just hype.

Everyone knows: if we can't even figure out WEB2 AI agents, how can we expect a WEB3 project team with just a few resources to create a high-quality AI agent project that surpasses WEB2? But that’s not important. The current meme craze in this bull market has starkly highlighted the reality of WEB3. Since everyone knows it’s just hot air, there’s no need to pretend we’re still wearing the emperor's new clothes. Let’s just say it’s a game of speculation; those who enter early and exit quickly can get rich—simple and straightforward.

This relates to the evolution of the human brain. Have you noticed that since the rise of short videos, where you can finish a series in five minutes, people can no longer sit down to watch a two-hour movie? This trend has evolved alongside the development of mobile internet and infrastructure, leading to simpler thought processes for most people. AI agents align with this overall trend; in the future, if you want to watch a five-minute show, you can simply have an AI agent create a custom short film for you every day based on your favorite movie genres.

For the gaming industry, AI agents may represent a new development track, as hardcore players are becoming fewer while casual players are on the rise. This is similar to the increasing number of users who prefer five-minute shows over two-hour films. Games will evolve into a space where users take a god-like perspective, using AI agents to set up AI players to play, thus enjoying the thrill of being a strategic manager. Previously, games succeeded by immersing users deeply into the experience, where users paid for character immersion (spending a lot of time grinding); the rise of AI agents will shift this pleasure to users paying for a sense of control over the game. You become the god, creating Adam and Eve with AI agents, and then you can simply observe and guide their performances, occasionally using a cheat code.

Games will be an excellent experimental scene for AI agents. Compared to the complex dimensions and unpredictable nature of the real world, AI agents will find it easier to function in games, as the rules are already set. For example, in the Texas Hold'em MTT Sports tournament I've been playing recently, the rules for winning and losing are very simple. If we introduce AI agents, you can directly set different playing styles like tight-aggressive, loose-aggressive, or loose-passive, or even have different AI players mimic the styles of certain poker stars and see which one has the highest win rate in the tournament. The most suitable games for AI agents are those multiplayer national war-type competitive games, where you create AI agent warriors that automatically evolve and start battling. Perhaps our entire Earth is just an AI agent experimental field for some advanced civilization, haha.

We can temporarily define a new game type that centers around AI agents as the main gameplay, giving users a god-like role experience, as "AIA Game" (unrelated to AIA insurance). Will AIA Game be the first to emerge in the WEB3 gaming sector? The probability is quite high, as the WEB3 industry is efficient and fast-paced.
