If you can't update every 2-3 days, you risk losing your audience.

Many people compare Memecoins to AI agent tokens, claiming they are essentially the same thing. I think there is some truth to this view, but it is not entirely accurate.
Similarities Between Memecoins and AI Agents
Unlike DeFi or L1, these projects have clear metrics such as TVL, trading volume, transactions, wallet numbers, etc., but no one knows how to price Memecoins.
Memecoins are all about:
Attention: How many people are talking about it?
Virality: How well does the meme spread online?
Hype: Is it a trending topic?
They do not need a "real product." In Memecoins, attention + token = product. This is why their value can skyrocket to billions, yet you can't find any reason for it.
AI agents share similar traits. People get excited for the following reasons:
Personality-driven agents that sing, dance, or interact in fun ways;
Alpha-focused agents that mine 5 gems a day.
In this case, it is also attention + token = product. Just like Memecoins, there is no clear way to "price" AI agent tokens; everything depends on attention.
But where is the difference?
With AI agents, you cannot rely solely on attention.
This space is crowded with agents, and to stand out, you need to consistently launch new products and engage better with the community. If you can't maintain updates every 2-3 days, you risk losing your audience.
The attention span on crypto Twitter is as short as that of a goldfish, regardless of what you are building:
DeFi AI agents
A personality-driven agent,
An alpha-sharing agent, or
Something entirely new…
You need to continuously provide something fresh to keep people engaged.
You must realize that you are playing a different game here: a game of attention.
In DeFi, you can quietly spend 3-4 weeks building something big, then launch it and create a buzz.
In AI agents, you cannot do that. In this field, attention is the product.
If you cannot capture the audience's attention day after day, you will fail. People will turn to newer, more enthusiastic, and active agents, and once the momentum is lost, it is nearly impossible to regain.
Current Investment Landscape
Investing in AI agents is not as straightforward as it was a month ago. Back then, the FDV of independent agents easily reached $10 million to $20 million. What about now? The FDV of new independent agents typically ranges from $1 million to $5 million, and even then, they need to work hard to stand out.
So, what should you do if you are an investor?
Double down on mainstream AI agents with strong communities and real utility.
Be selective with smaller agents: only invest when you are confident they have something truly unique and can compete in this crowded space.
If you don't have time to monitor the market, accumulate ecosystem tokens like $VIRTUAL, $AI16Z, $VVAIFU, $ZEREBRO, and then stay calm.
