ASXN has built a dashboard for a deeper understanding of the HYPE airdrop:

• Total number of recipients: 94,000 wallets
• Average airdrop: 2915.66 HYPE
• Median airdrop: 64.53 HYPE

At the current price of HYPE exceeding $7, the total value of HYPE airdropped is nearly $2 billion, averaging nearly $20,000 per address! (The median of nearly $400 better reflects the earnings of most participants after excluding the whales.)

We analyze the distribution of top holders, active TWAP, locked tokens, and holder distribution:

Distribution by different percentiles:

- 10th percentile: 4.28 HYPE

- 25th percentile: 14.98 HYPE

- 50th percentile: 64.42 HYPE

- 75th percentile: 379.90 HYPE

- 99th percentile: 58317.95 HYPE

The total range is from 0.11 HYPE to 1,975,126.70 HYPE.

Currently, there are 70,300 holders of HYPE tokens, with the largest non-team holder being 0xfe…fe, holding 8.5 million HYPE tokens.

We can examine the holders of HYPE tokens after the genesis:

Most wallets holding HYPE possess between 16 to 64 tokens. The holder distribution is as follows:

• 13,500 wallets (20.6%) hold 16 to 64 tokens
• 13,500 wallets (20.6%) hold 64 to 256 tokens
• 8,400 wallets (12.8%) hold 256 to 1,000 tokens
• 5,400 wallets (8.2%) hold 1,000 to 4,100 tokens

The following chart shows the differences in the genesis balances and current holdings of 20 TGE participants, providing insight into how people are utilizing the airdrop.

Hyperliquid's TWAP feature seems appealing, as many wallets choose to buy or sell HYPE tokens over longer periods, thereby reducing significant price fluctuations.
