I previously saw reports stating that OpenAI is not expected to achieve annual profitability until 2029. Before that, in 2026, the company's annual losses could reach as high as $14 billion!

In this context, the news about 0G Labs raising $290 million for their modular AI public chain doesn't seem so shocking. After all, 0G Labs aims to accomplish something grand: to build the world's first decentralized AI operating system (dAIOS).

Another highlight of the project is that the team's CTO, Ming Wu, is also the CTO of Conflux, and the CEO is a former Goldman Sachs founder.
