The Based Agent launched by Coinbase appears to be a simple aggregation of the Coinbase AI wallet API, ChatGPT API, knowledge base, and fine-tuning, which is still far from the market's expectations of an AI with self-awareness or an AI Agent as defined by OpenAI.

Currently, AI Agents built using coze, dify, or OpenAI's swarm mainly address issues such as information retrieval from LLMs (large language models), setting up collaborative workflows among multiple LLMs, standardizing input and output controls for multiple LLMs, and executing the output results of LLM workflows.

At this stage, AI Agents can chat and help us with tasks like translating, writing novels, booking flights and hotels, and handling financial reports, among other daily affairs. However, it is currently unrealistic to expect them to autonomously issue tokens on http://Pump.fun, trade MeMe coins independently, or manage cryptocurrency portfolios on their own.
