Humility and Courage, Responsibility and Challenge | The Changes and Constants of He Yi Over the Past Six Years!
I am honored to have lunch with Sister @heyibinance the day before yesterday, and to have conversations at the After Party that day!
I also appreciate Sister saying she enjoys reading my articles.
I know that writing from the heart can move people! Just like treating others with genuine sincerity can make them feel like they are basking in spring sunshine!
Sister is the one who makes everyone feel like they are basking in spring sunshine!
1⃣️ Memories from Six Years Ago | Changes and Constants
The last time I had a close encounter with Sister was six years ago when Binance had just started.
Now, Binance has become the number one exchange in the universe, an existence that is unreachable!
Clearly, some things have changed, while others have remained the same!
2⃣️ What Hasn't Changed is the Consistent Excellence!
First, let’s talk about what hasn’t changed—
What hasn’t changed is the most precious thing: Sister's qualities!
Six years ago, she was on the front lines for a long time; back then, Sister was like a firefighter!
But the humility and empathy that radiate from within, as well as the resolute courage and inner tolerance that you can feel, have not changed at all!
These are not things that can be faked; in a sense, this is also the foundational color of Binance!
I have always believed that @cz_binance brought “responsibility” to Binance, an accountability system for “doing the right thing,”
while @heyibinance Sister brought the spirit of humility and the courage to face difficulties to Binance.
In a way, these core elements have become the cohesive elements that form a kind of “cultural attribute” and symbol of Binance!
So, every time Sister appears, it gives everyone a feeling of being bathed in spring sunshine, an attitude of facing everything without evasion!
These are the foundational colors! They are culture!
If we look at this from a higher level, these qualities point to a profound respect and understanding of life, others, and the world we live in.
3⃣️ What Has Changed is the Higher Goals Set by Sister!
Now let’s talk about what has changed—
What has changed is the next goal after Binance became a king!
Six years ago, Binance's goal was to become the best exchange in the world; six years later, Sister hopes Binance can build a beautiful future, allowing more users and more people in the world to better use digital currency!
Another point is that when I saw Sister this time, she had lost a lot of weight, and I could clearly feel some fatigue; she might be quite tired recently, and there are a few more wrinkles at the corners of her eyes. For a goddess, this is somewhat cruel.
Sister has been striving and has never stopped, so on the other hand, I believe this is also the best medal that “Fighting” has given her!
Now, Binance is much larger than it was six years ago, with many internal and external issues that need to be resolved. CZ's retreat to the background and last year's events in the U.S. have posed significant challenges for Binance, and certainly for Sister as well!
We cannot know what Sister has faced during this time, but fortunately, everything is getting better now!
Sister said during an interview:
“Fortunately, we are operating well and still leading the industry. There are two main challenges: one is internal organizational challenges, which we have already addressed; the other is external environmental challenges.”
As a goddess, Sister could retreat to the background and enjoy her beauty, but as the founder of Binance and an entrepreneur with grand goals, Sister clearly will not stop her steps!
So in the future, Sister will continue to strive, and of course, it may inevitably involve more fatigue, but isn’t that what a true goddess is?
I really like this quote from Sister, so I’ll end with it—
“Our goal is not just to enter the industry and drive up prices, but to build a better future. We should work together to promote industry development. Therefore, we are looking for innovative startups that bring practical application scenarios to the world, not just limited to trading, allowing the entire industry to be utilized.”
Finally, I hope @heyibinance Sister takes care of her health, rests more, and maintains a better state to create a better Binance!
