Eclipse's public mainnet is imminent; how is the ecological development? How should one layout airdrop opportunities?

Last week, Eclipse officially launched its official bridge, supporting ETH deposits from Ethereum to the Eclipse network. Meanwhile, the project will launch its public mainnet in the coming weeks.
Despite some controversies surrounding Eclipse due to undisclosed private transactions between former Polychain partner Niraj Pant and former Eclipse Labs CEO Neel Somani, its popularity remains undiminished.
As an Ethereum-based SVM (Solana Virtual Machine) L2 project, Eclipse leverages Celestia's data availability and verifiability, as well as RISC ZERO's ZK fraud proof technology, to connect Ethereum and Solana. It not only combines the high performance and scalability of SVM but also retains the security attributes of Ethereum. Additionally, Eclipse accepts ETH as a gas payment method, which helps it easily gain liquidity and benefit from Ethereum's network effects.
The author also noted that Eclipse CEO Vijay Chetty revealed at Solana Breakpoint 2024 that Eclipse has become one of Celestia's largest data users. Currently, Eclipse's ecosystem mainly focuses on three verticals: DeFi, consumer applications, and infrastructure, with plans to launch the public mainnet in October.

When discussing the future development of Eclipse, Vijay Chetty shared the project's roadmap, which includes building a trustless L2, achieving trustless deposits and chain expansion, introducing fraud proofs and forced inclusion, developing a sequencer rotation protocol, and governance mechanisms. He also mentioned that Eclipse's long-term vision is to drive high-throughput DeFi and consumer applications on-chain and plans to introduce Firedancer.
Note: The original intention of Firedancer is to eliminate single points of failure and enhance the overall robustness and resilience of the network. Unlike the original Rust-based validators, Firedancer is written in C, significantly reducing the impact of potential vulnerabilities on the entire network, adding another solid line of defense for Solana's security. It is worth mentioning that Eclipse has also created a Unified Restaking Token (URT) "tETH," which supports depositing LRT tokens in exchange for tETH to participate in more DeFi opportunities within the Eclipse ecosystem and earn more rewards. In Vijay Chetty's view, Eclipse will become the LRTfi home. URT currently supports ETH and will later support SOL.
Eclipse's total funding has reached $65 million, and since opening the mainnet to Builders at the end of July, the development of its ecosystem has attracted significant attention. Notably, several mainstream Solana ecosystem projects such as Orca, Save, Mango, and Backpack will support the Eclipse network, although native Eclipse projects are currently relatively scarce.
