ETHGlobal San Francisco 2024 selects the top ten winning projects from 223 projects.

On October 21, 2024, ETHGlobal announced the top ten winning projects of ETHGlobal San Francisco 2024 on their official Twitter.

These 10 projects were selected from a competitive pool of 223 projects, namely: PumpRoyale, VVLDrizzy, IP Infinity, OmiSwap, HelloACAI, DAOsaster, Chain Waves, BuildBlocks, UniV4Backtester, Betsy.

Here is a brief introduction to the ten winning projects:

PumpRoyale

PumpRoyale is a fitness competition Web3 project that uses smart contracts to hold participants' stakes and refunds, distributing funds from the losers' pool to randomly selected winners who complete physical exercises.

In PumpRoyale, global users can stake any amount of USDC in regularly held global competitions. During the competition, the system randomly prompts users to record their completion of a basic fitness activity within 10 minutes of the prompt. Those who successfully complete the physical activity within the specified time will receive their deposit back, while those who do not will lose their deposit, creating a losers' fund pool. After each competition, the system randomly selects a few individuals who completed the fitness activity to receive a share of the losers' fund pool. This sports challenge is not only relatively simple but also has the potential for exponential rewards as the user base grows.

VVLDrizzy

VVLDrizzy, with "VVL" standing for Viral Video Licensor, aims to create, watermark, license, and protect viral short videos for content creators, enabling them and media organizations to easily receive payments or pay for video content licenses, bridging the gap in Web3 adoption for traditional media organizations. VVLDrizzy is powered by Story Protocol and Walrus.

Creators often upload short videos to TikTok and quickly go viral, but these videos are frequently stolen and re-uploaded by many accounts without permission, leaving creators without any earnings. With VVLDrizzy, short video creators can easily set their licensing terms to prevent unauthorized use of their videos, allowing them to earn some money.

IP Infinity

IP Infinity is a project that combines digital IP assets with immersive worlds to create interactive gaming experiences that bring NFTs to life.

The process begins with users entering their ENS. Their NFTs are processed and categorized by AI, then transformed into game objects such as characters or equipment. Each game object is assigned statistics that reflect its base price and characteristics. These assets are then implemented into a procedurally generated game world built in Unreal Engine, providing an engaging and vibrant environment. A unique feature of the project is the story IP database, which allows users to share their NFT worlds and contribute their own unique characters and stories to them.

OmiSwap

OmiSwap is an innovative platform that simplifies blockchain interactions using AI wearable devices through voice-activated commands.

OmiSwap allows users to initiate transactions by speaking to the Omi device, recognizing trigger phrases like "start transaction" and "end transaction" to capture user intent. The OmiSwap platform utilizes advanced AI powered by OpenAI's GPT model to interpret natural language commands. For example, a user can say, "I want to send $5 to Rohan on Polygon," and the system will convert it into structured transaction data.

OmiSwap leverages the Omi AI wearable device, which is part of a larger ecosystem integrated with smartphones and companion applications. This integration allows users to receive notifications, conduct transactions, and access blockchain functionalities directly from the wearable device. The seamless connection between the wearable device and the user's smartphone enhances the overall utility and convenience of the OmiSwap platform.

The OmiSwap system supports multiple blockchain networks, including Base, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Ethereum. Users can specify the network in their voice commands, enabling seamless cross-chain transactions. OmiSwap uses the Coinbase CDP SDK to create and manage wallets for users across different blockchain networks. This integration allows for efficient wallet configuration, depositing and withdrawing cryptocurrencies, tracking balances, and trading crypto assets. UniV4Backtester

UniV4 Backtester replays UniV3 events (swaps, mints, burns) and examines the performance of hypothetical positions over time.

UniV4 Backtester retrieves liquidity events from specified UniV3 pools and then replays these events (swaps, adding liquidity, removing liquidity) in a hypothetical UniV4 pool that may have specified hooks. This setup supports institutional-level backtesting analysis, analyzing how the UniV4 pool operates using real CLMM pool liquidity events rather than aggregated (hourly or daily) historical data, which can lead to inaccurate and unrealistic results. Backtesters can set up a hypothetical position and backtest its performance over a specified time window.

Betsy

Betsy is a Web3 community betting platform on Skale that allows friends and communities to bet on sports events in a decentralized, transparent, and fun way.

Betsy uses XMTP's Converse application to leverage its group messaging features and user wallets to create an immersive experience where people can chat and have fun while placing bets. After creating a bet, group members can chat within the platform, agree or disagree on predictions, and place bets. This makes betting more engaging and interactive, creating a shared experience around sports events. Once a bet is finalized, smart contracts automatically transfer funds, ensuring that everyone's contributions are handled fairly and securely.
