The deBridge governance token DBR has started circulating, with 491,286 early users and loyal members of the DeFi community set to receive airdrops.
DBR is an SPL token on the Solana chain, with an initial circulation of 1.8 billion tokens and a maximum supply of 10 billion tokens. All airdrop recipients have two options:
They can choose to receive 50% of the tokens at TGE and the remaining 50% six months later;
Or they can choose to receive 80% of the tokens in one go at TGE, with the remaining 20% being forfeited and not obtainable.
It is important to note that all tokens for strategic partners and core contributors will be locked until six months after the TGE, at which point 20% of the tokens will be unlocked, and the remaining tokens will be unlocked quarterly over a vesting period of three years.
The opening price of the DBR token is $0.03, which means the fully diluted market cap of DBR is $300 million. DBR can be traded in the on-chain DBR/USDC Meteora pool and is also supported for trading on CEXs. Currently listed exchanges include: Bybit, Crypto.com, Bitget, Coinone, HTX, Bitvavo, Backpack, KuCoin, Bitvavo, Aevo, BitMEX, Cube, MEXC, Drift, Zeta Markets, Gate, and Kraken.
The deBridge airdrop is also the first cryptocurrency airdrop to support both on-chain and off-chain custody, having partnered with multiple centralized exchanges to allow users to claim tokens directly in their trading accounts at TGE. In fact, about 60% of the entire airdrop tokens can be claimed from CEXs, while the remaining 40% will be claimed on-chain.
deBridge has become one of the largest bridging economies in the crypto market and a core bridging service in the Solana ecosystem, with fee revenue exceeding $13 million.
