I also wrote about Sui reaching a new high

This afternoon, I was bragging about Sui in a group, and as a result, I experienced the power of words—new high reached.

I have been calling Sui for over a year, analyzing data and emotional trends, from when it was over 1 dollar down to 0.36, while the whole internet was cursing Sui as a scam, and my private messages were filled with insults accusing me of using Sui to cut leeks (pfft), then it rose to 2 and dropped back to 0.5. Life has its ups and downs. Now, everyone should know about my significant Sui bag.

I have followed Sui across Asia, running builder houses, where projects have been incubated, TVL has been pressured, and I have participated in almost every token generation event (TGE) for new projects. If we compare Sui with APTOS, I believe they are not on the same level, whether in terms of the solidity of the developer community, user experience, or project quality. Anyone who has used Sui cannot turn a blind eye.

Sui's biggest shortcoming is precisely the core team's cautiousness and "lack of playfulness." The founding team is among the oldest in the L1 space, having achieved success in the Bay Area before starting this project, and with complicated legal issues, Sui lacks the narrative and market capabilities that Solana has, making even OTC transactions incredibly difficult, forcing them to rely on their investment institutions.

This challenging start leads to the fact that you can still say the reason for the Sui ecosystem "taking off" is not due to the Sui official team, but rather the "self-rescue" efforts of various individuals within the ecosystem. Sui has one of the highest ratios of unreleased token projects among all L1s—there are products and data, but insufficient funding and unreleased tokens. For example, Typus, Bucket, WINX, etc.

Aside from Cetus, other token projects like NAVI, Clam, and Suia's initial launch have not been very ideal. This has led everyone to think early on about how to break the deadlock and self-rescue, including the Sui Foundation. Last year at the Singapore builder house, we already discussed how to use memecoins to activate traffic and topics, including early meme projects like $FUD, where I spoke about how to launch and market them. No matter how bad the market is, and despite the lack of experience, we have never given up on continuously making moves (of course, partly because the cost of migrating from MOVE is too high).

Many of the Sui memecoins you see today mostly have backgrounds from former members, ambassadors, or mods of certain Sui projects. It is precisely because of these people's efforts that the conspiracy group chose Sui, leading to the emergence of high FDV split projects.

This story tells us that if the price of the L1 or L2 coins in your hands looks like a pile of dog poop, don’t blame the "whales for lacking vision," it must be that this ecosystem has brought it upon itself.
