Sell everything, cashing out the profits, but be prepared for potential missed opportunities. 2. Sell half and keep half, cashing out half the profits, while the other half may yield greater returns or could incur losses. 3. Set a break-even order, which may allow for more profits, but also requires accepting the reality of reduced profits. This is a weakness of human nature, and the solution is simple: create a trading plan and strictly adhere to it, using the plan to replace human greed and fear. For example, as I mentioned before, short positions should not exceed 10% of the total position, with profit targets of 10%-15% for short-term, 30% for medium-term, and doubling the principal for long-term. Replacing your "whimsical" decisions with a trading plan will help avoid the psychology of hesitating to buy at the right price and being reluctant to sell at the target. This is also a fundamental lesson for every trader: first conquer yourself.
