Introduction to Suilend

Suilend is a lending protocol built on Sui by the team behind the well-known Solana lending protocol Solend (now renamed Save), with Rooter as the founder. Solend has been running smoothly to date, with no security incidents, and the team's past technical experience and project performance can be considered as a plus.

Since September, Suilend has been developing rapidly, with the Total Value Locked (TVL) currently exceeding 130 million US dollars.

High Returns Strategy

Suilend is supported by the Sui Foundation and is eligible to receive SUI token incentives. By depositing stablecoins, the annualized return rate can reach 12% or more. However, all airdrop points come from lending activities — lending also comes with SUI token subsidies. With the SUI subsidy, it is possible to borrow stablecoins and ETH at a rate lower than 1% and deploy them to other protocols to earn interest differentials (stablecoins cannot be re-deposited in Suilend, as Suilend will detect circular borrowing). When the underlying asset income and interest differentials are added together, the comprehensive annualized return can reach over 15%, and Suilend points can be obtained.

Operational Paths

• Path 1: Deposit stablecoins, borrow ETH, deposit ETH into Scallop, Navi to earn interest differentials, returns: 15%+ annualized + Suilend points.
• Path 2: Deposit stablecoins, borrow SOL, bridge SOL back to Solana for staking to earn interest differentials, returns: 15%+ annualized + Suilend points.
• Path 3: Deposit ETH/SOL, borrow USDT (the points obtained from borrowing USDT are much higher than USDC), deposit USDT into Scallop, Navi to earn interest differentials / provide stablecoin LP on Aftermath / Swap into BUCK and deposit into Bucket / deposit into Typus SAFU, returns: > 10% annualized + Suilend points.

Note: Stablecoins, ETH, and SOL on Sui all need to be bridged in. Due to a large amount of SOL being borrowed in the short term, the SOL interest rate has soared. The SOL interest rate is mostly between 0-7% annualized for deposits, and less than 1% for borrowing, and may even be negative. Due to the existence of lending positions, attention should be paid to liquidation risks.

Suilend Capsule

Suilend Capsule is an NFT awarded by Suilend to protocol contributors, divided into blue common and purple (as shown) uncommon categories.

In addition to being selected through participating in promotional activities held by Suilend, and sharing Suilend-related content on platforms such as X, Suilend Capsule can also be directly purchased on Tradeport (an NFT trading market that supports Sui).
