1. Has Magic been sold?
I have not sold my Magic since I bought it. The black text in the article is a quote from a reader's comment.
I still hope that our readers do not pay too much attention to how I operate, and do not follow my operations completely, because my operations could be completely wrong, and the frequency of errors is very high.
Among all the tracks I have been following, the one with the highest returns is NFT.
I remember in a previous article or online exchange, a reader asked me what the success rate of investing in NFTs was. My response at the time was that the success rate was probably only 20% to 30%, meaning that 70% to 80% of the projects I invested in ended in failure.
But why did such a low success rate bring me good returns? Because the returns from a few projects far exceeded those of other projects and covered all the losses.
Does this mean that catching these 20% to 30% of projects does not require logic and is purely based on guesswork?
Absolutely not.
I believe that first and foremost, luck is needed. But luck probably only helps us find the NFT track, and to catch these 20% to 30% of projects in this track, a certain amount of logic and thinking is still needed.
So I always emphasize that the reason I share some projects is to hope that readers pay attention to the thinking process behind them, learn from my experiences, and come up with their own methods.
If the readers' focus completely shifts to the projects themselves, then it will be troublesome.
I have also thought: for example, if I really made all the projects I have invested in public, I am quite sure that the projects in which I have the best returns of 20% to 30% are very likely to have no one willing to follow, but many people would follow the failed 70% to 80% of projects. And even if some people follow the 20% to 30% of projects, they are very likely not to buy or sell together with me.
For example, when I only had 15 ETH in CryptoPunks, I confidently recommended CryptoPunks to a few deeply trusted friends around me, but the vast majority did not buy.
This is human nature, deeply rooted and irresistible human nature.
So I generally do not answer questions in detail such as "what coins do I have" or "what is the proportion" unless the coins I hold are very illustrative of a certain investment phenomenon and investment thinking.
2. Can LPT sprout new growth? Riding on AI, grayscale holds the currency.
I do not have a deep understanding of this coin, nor have I bought it.
Actually, I feel that when readers ask this question, they already have the answer in their hearts, because the reader themselves said that this coin is "riding on AI".
Since it is "riding on", according to my way of not doing short-term operations, I would not buy this type of coin.
In addition, whether grayscale or XX large institutions hold a currency has never been a criterion for my buying or holding. The holdings of these institutions are commercial activities and they have to face their clients directly.
Since they have to face clients, they, like the vast majority of Wall Street institutions, have to consider short-term considerations and profit pressures from their clients. In addition, they also have some non-investment behavior considerations based on their own interests.
These factors are not closely related to whether the currencies they hold have long-term potential.
Of course, I occasionally look at their Bitcoin and Ethereum holding data. But I do not look at those data to find confidence from them for myself, but to analyze the flow of funds and the possible impact it may have on prices from their changes in holdings.
