He was very proud that China has a 5000-year-old civilization, but I argued that there is no evidence to support 5000 years based on archaeological findings, with the most support being around 3500 years. There is no archaeological evidence for the Xia Dynasty. Oh, he was so angry, being of a certain age, he was really upset. In the end, I had to admit that I was wrong.
