Selected Gitcoin Grant 21 Rounds Worth Donating Projects

Gitcoin donations have started again. This round (Gitcoin Grants Round 21) is the 21st round of donations for Gitcoin, focusing on ecosystem and community-driven initiatives. The theme is collaboration, new governance processes, and external partnerships. It is divided into 9 community rounds, mainly focusing on the Arbitrum chain, with the earliest donation deadline being 19:00 on August 21st (Beijing time).

Users can support public utilities by purchasing Glo on-chain without the need for donations. This round is dedicated to developing truly decentralized Metaverse based on open standards and promoting Metaverse as a public good through interoperable, open dApps and experiences. The matching pool amount for this round is 350,000 ARB, with a total of 5 projects. The recommended project is:

Pairwise

Pairwise is an open-source voting Dapp that creates an AA wallet through Web2 login, connects the wallet to their existing OP mainnet address, and uses ZK proofs to store their on-chain reputation. Voters create votes through the AA wallet using EAS proofs.

GG21: Climate Solutions Round (Arbitrum Chain)

This round aims to fund climate solution projects with real impact globally, with a matching pool amount of 125,000 USDGLO (the previously mentioned Glo Dollar stablecoin), and a total of 71 projects, many of which have appeared in previous donation rounds. The recommended projects are:

GainForest

GainForest is a non-profit organization protecting forest resources. The project uses existing AI algorithms for species and biodiversity detection, collects forest data using drones based on the decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN), and aims to build the world's largest and most valuable forest drone image dataset to change our understanding of Earth's biological resources and enhance protection. Additionally, the project provides sustainable income for these forest data collectors.

LitterToken

Litter Token is an "earn while cleaning" application where the LTK token is used to pay users for collecting garbage. Users can collect LTK by collecting garbage and providing photographic evidence, and LTK will be sent to the user's wallet, which can be exchanged for USDC. The project also provides open-source images of the collected garbage as proof of user behavior.

GG21: CollabTech Round (Arbitrum Chain)

This round is primarily dedicated to the development of on-chain organizations, B2B SaaS, and the future of work, advancing projects related to identity and reputation, governance and decision-making, operations, community, and contributor tools. The matching pool amount is 30,000 USDC, with a total of 29 projects. The recommended project is:

ZKT Network

ZKT Network is a compliant infrastructure for blockchain, supporting cross-chain compliant transactions. It simplifies the integration of regulatory standards into blockchain applications through ZK proofs and a set of developer tools, ensuring compliance without compromising privacy or decentralization.

Meet with Wallet

MeetwithWallet is a Web3 remote meeting application that provides a Web2 user experience while adhering to Web3 decentralization and privacy. Similar to Calendly in Web3, the application connects through a wallet, eliminating the need for email or phone registration. Meetings are only public during the meeting stage, while all meeting agendas are encrypted during the pre-meeting period and can only be viewed by the individual.

RnDAO

RnDAO is a research-led venture capital ecosystem supporting Web3 collaboration software startups and development DAOs. It provides research support for early-stage projects and builds collaborative technologies such as organizational tools, community tools, DAO operations, and governance tools.

GG21: Web3 Grant Ecosystem (Arbitrum Chain)

This round is primarily focused on advancing high-quality projects in Web3 grants and news aggregation, with a matching pool amount of 125,000 ARB and a total of 57 projects. The recommended projects are:

welcomeonchain.eth

welcomeonchain is a Web3 data aggregation platform that collects industry-related popular science sections, project information, KOL profiles, and tutorials on Web3 skills. Users can easily find the content they are looking for by searching. The platform currently collects and maintains information for 1500 projects and has social attributes, allowing users to comment in any section.

CharmVerse

CharmVerse is a blockchain grant management platform designed for developers, where projects can submit proposals, govern through community voting, or raise funds. Previously, CharmVerse completed a $3.8 million seed round financing, with participation from Spartan Group, Cultur3, Red Building Capital, Opensea Ventures, Alliance DAO, Orange DAO, Builder Capital, and POAP Ventures.

GG21: QuantumStake (Scroll)

QuantumStake

This round is named after the project QuantumStake, with a matching pool amount of 100,000 USDC. QuantumStake is a staking platform. According to its official website, QuantumStake platform offers advanced technology integration, scalability, user-friendly interface, community-driven development, and smart contract auditing.
