Apple Officially Announces New AI System "Apple Intelligence," Siri to Integrate ChatGPT
Apple announced a new personalized AI system called "Apple Intelligence" at its WWDC developer conference. Apple Intelligence will prioritize handling notifications on iPhones and use writing tools to summarize text. It is mainly supported by a large language model (LLM) on devices running A17 Pro and M-series chips.

OP Mainnet Launches "Fraud Proof" to Strengthen Rollup Decentralization
According to The Block, OP Labs has launched a fraud proof system on the L2 blockchain OP Mainnet. The fraud proof system allows the extraction of Ethereum and ERC-20 tokens from OP Mainnet without the need for a trusted third party. Fraud proof is a mechanism in the Ethereum L2 network that allows users to dispute potential fraud or incorrect transactions. Previously, OP Mainnet did not have fraud proof, requiring users to trust operators to submit accurate state roots to the mainnet. In the future, fraud proof will be extended to other L2s built on the OP Stack, including Base, Metal, Mode, and Zora.

Network researcher SomaXBT stated that the exchange was shut down two days after a hacker attack. MetaMask developer and cryptocurrency defense expert Taylor Monahan stated that $22 million of suspicious funds flowed out of the exchange. On-chain data shows that half of the funds were in Bitcoin, with the remainder in Ethereum, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash, among others. Additionally, the Ethereum withdrawn from the exchange was immediately converted to the stablecoin DAI. Lykke users are currently unable to withdraw assets from the platform, with some users reporting that their account balances have been emptied.

ZKsync to Airdrop ZK Tokens Next Week, Distributing 17.5% of Total Supply to Users
Matter Labs announced that its Layer-2 network ZKsync will airdrop ZK tokens next week, distributing 17.5% of the total supply (21 billion tokens), which amounts to 3.675 billion tokens. This will be the largest token distribution in a major Layer-2 network.
According to Matter Labs' token distribution plan released on Tuesday, 89% of the ZK token airdrop will be allocated to ZKsync users, who must meet certain transaction activity criteria (specific criteria have not been disclosed). The remaining 11% will be allocated to ecosystem contributors, including ZKsync native projects (5.8%), on-chain communities (2.8%), and developers (2.4%). Additionally, to prevent excessive benefits for large holders ("whales"), a single address can receive a maximum of 100,000 tokens.
Matter Labs further stated that the number of tokens distributed in the airdrop will exceed the total amount allocated to the Matter Labs team and investors, which account for 16.1% and 17.2% respectively. These tokens will be locked for one year and then gradually unlocked over the next three years. The remaining tokens will be allocated to the new "Token Assembly" of ZKsync (29.3%) and various ecosystem plans (19.9%).
This airdrop will give community members the most circulating tokens in the upcoming ZKsync governance system, providing them with greater influence in protocol governance upgrades. Based on the pre-market price, the fully diluted valuation (FDV) of ZK tokens is estimated to be around $25 billion, nearly three times the total locked value (TVL) of the ZKsync Era, which is currently $815 million.
LayerZero co-founder and CEO Bryan Pellegrino shared their extensive considerations for user eligibility on Twitter. Pellegrino stated that their goal is to ensure that genuine users receive the most fair and broad distribution, with a focus on high alignment and persistent user groups.
According to Pellegrino's tweets, there are currently 6 million initial wallets, with 3 million wallets having less than 5 transactions, which are the wallets being considered. All transactions valued below $1 will have their weight reduced by 80%, but will still count as one-fifth of a normal transaction. All "worthless NFT" transactions will also have their weight reduced by 80%, but will still count as one-fifth of a normal transaction (in this case, "worthless" is defined as having a value listed on the market of less than 0.00001 ETH or minimal transaction volume). These measures address the majority of inorganic network spam, which largely disappears after the snapshot.
Additionally, Pellegrino mentioned that Gas-Drop counts as a valid transaction and regulates transactions based on specific protocol fees (rather than the fees of the underlying blockchain where the transaction occurs). The lowest and highest values will serve as eligibility criteria, with early adopters, persistent users, liquidity providers, etc., receiving rewards, aiming to achieve the most fair and optimal protocol distribution.
Star Xu: Recent User Fund Loss Cases Unrelated to Switching from GA to SMS
In response to recent security incidents, OKX CEO Star Xu stated on the X platform that the recent user fund loss cases were unrelated to the switch from Google Authenticator (GA) to SMS completion. No user fund losses were caused by this method. Whitelisted addresses are primarily designed to meet the automated withdrawal needs of API users. Setting limits for such addresses is impractical, and it is recommended to introduce a "silent expiration of whitelisted addresses" mechanism to enhance security. GA has a slightly higher security level than SMS, but it is emphasized that GA is not absolutely secure. Each authentication method has its advantages and disadvantages, and users should choose the appropriate security verification method based on their own situation.
Hackers can steal a user's GA through two main methods: a) implanting a Trojan on the user's device; b) if the user has enabled GA cloud sync, hackers can obtain GA information by stealing the user's Google account. Methods for stealing a user's SMS include device Trojan implantation, SIM card cloning, fake base stations, and theft through SMS service providers. Xu Mingxing stated that OKX has full confidence in the security of its products and pledged to continue fully compensating users for fund losses caused by OKX itself.
