Blast is destined to become the crypto hot topic of the last week of February.
From the previously disclosed information, Blast's mainnet will go live at the end of February. We mentioned in an article titled "Blast L2 Operation Tutorial: Airdrop Half Split, TVL and Developers I Want Them All" a month ago:
On January 17th, Blast officially announced the launch of the testnet and a one-month "Big Bang" incentive plan, encouraging developers to actively build applications in its ecosystem and conduct competitions according to certain rules. Winning projects can receive Blast token airdrops.
Now is the time when the Big Bang event ends and the mainnet goes live, what does this mean for players?

On February 24th, Blast also announced the list of projects selected for the Big Bang event. According to TechFlow's statistics, this list contains as many as 120+ projects.

Clearly, NFT/Gaming and infrastructure projects dominate the Blast ecosystem, followed by lending and perpetual DEX.
Thanks to the low gas fees, Blast is also suitable for the development of gaming projects. However, Blast itself may not consciously aim to build itself as a "gaming chain".
On the one hand, gaming projects have established resources off-chain, and placing them on Chain A or Chain B is just a choice, not a necessity.
