A Ethereum developer successfully launched their own ERC-20 token AstroPepeX using ChatGPT and modeling it after the token with the highest trading volume on Uniswap.
X (formerly Twitter) user CroissantETH revealed details on how they integrated ChatGPT into a custom application using OpenAI's API. They mentioned designing and issuing their own ERC-20 token, estimated to be valued at $3.5 million.
Data from Etherscan shows that since the token's launch on September 20th, there have been over 17,700 transactions involving more than 2,300 APX holders.

After providing ChatGPT with data on the top 10,000 tokens on Uniswap, developers managed to enable ChatGPT to deploy smart contracts on the Ethereum network.
CroissantETH also explained how ChatGPT initially struggled to name its ERC-20 token, and the developer's solution was to integrate data from the token with the highest trading volume on Uniswap to make the output sound more natural.
To ensure the token was entirely created by GPT before deploying the contract, CroissantETH addressed ownership issues of private keys and contract contracts by excluding any human intervention.
As a result, AstroPepeX (APX) was created by ChatGPT and sent 65,000,000,000 APX tokens and 2 Ether (ETH) in liquidity to the decentralized exchange Uniswap.

Through exclusive access to the Nansen 2 beta blockchain analysis tool, Cointelegraph confirmed that the APX token has indeed entered DeFi platforms such as Poloniex, as well as centralized exchanges like Bitget, MEXC, and LBank.
Poloniex also promoted the token's listing on X (formerly Twitter) and opened deposits and trading on its exchange on September 21st.

AstroPepeX's website links to its Ethereum address and social media accounts, including a Telegram community group with around 1,500 members and a BuyTech bot that provides automatic updates on APX trading and its current market value. CroissantETH later stated on Twitter that the token does not have an official Telegram group.
