Brian Nelson, a senior advisor for the Harris campaign, told Bloomberg in an interview that if Harris secures the presidency in November, she will “support policies that ensure that emerging technologies and that sort of industry can continue to grow.” This development arrives as many digital currency supporters express disappointment with Harris’s so-called ‘crypto reset,’ criticizing it as a failure. Democrats have left cryptocurrency out of their platform, and Harris’s endorsement of price controls and higher capital gains taxes has generally been met with disfavor within the crypto community.
