According to Golden Finance, Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan recently stated that Bitcoin is exhibiting "significantly different" characteristics from previous market downturns. Despite the market volatility caused by Trump's tariff policies, Bitcoin's price has only fluctuated by 0.07% in the past month, demonstrating rare stability. Since Bitcoin broke through $1 in 2011, it has never performed better than the stock market during a period of comprehensive market correction, but Hougan believes that this time may be different. As more companies, institutions, and governments begin to hold Bitcoin, its narrative as a safe haven asset is gradually replacing the positioning of a risky asset, showing signs of the increasingly mature cryptocurrency market.
