So this one is going to have a lot of arguments.
Eggs were at 8/dozen last month (which is what recorded in the CPI for the record)
They are at 5/dozen now and expected to rise to 6-7/dozen in the coming months.
When eggs dipped a little the US also bull bought imports of eggs, and retailers subsidized slightly so you might see eggs on the shelf for 3-5/dozen currently.
But it’s expected to rise, and eggs are caught up in the tariffs on Canada & the EU, and the US subsidy buying is over.
So eggs aren’t at all time high prices now, but they aren’t as low as you’d think, and they are likely going to start creeping back up.
