More jobs. Here is why. The minute you open your eyes, you are capturing information from everything you see. That makes humans and animals unique. My Australian Sheppard can cross the street safely. And if something changes , we don't have to worry about it creating an adversarial glitch like FSD does. It will still be able to cross the street. Point being that the living breathing world contains information that the computers in our brain can inherently capture, evaluate and process better than AI for now and for a long time to come. And we can use tools to make us even better at it It's going to be hard for AI to capture as much information as we can, in real time, and learn from it in real time , like humans and even dogs can LLMs today learn almost exclusively from text. All you AI experts correct me if im wrong, the advances are occuring in reasoning speed , logic and quantity. The models seem to be learning as much through distillation as from new sources Which will create challenges. Companies will paywall their IP. They won't share with the world. This will be obvious in medicine. The latest and greatest from Mayo will be in the Mayo model. From Md Anderson on their model. Etc. Models that have the most users that are willing to let the model learn form the interactions will be ahead of the game. OpenAI having 400m users matters Companies are realizing that their IP is their differentiation and salvation. There will be so much change and innovation that people will be needed to run and operate those companies and to convey the visual world to the AI models I'm sure a lot of people will disagree , and I'm good with that. Fire away !
