CertiK: Cryptocurrency vulnerabilities and fraud losses drop to $28.8 million in March

According to a report by Golden Finance, blockchain security company CertiK stated that cryptocurrency vulnerability exploitation and fraud losses dropped to $28.8 million in March, lower than the level of $1.5 billion that surged after Bybit was attacked in February. In March, the stolen funds exceeded $33 million, but the total loss decreased due to the successful recovery of some of the stolen funds by the decentralized exchange aggregator 1inch. In a post on the X platform on April 1st, CertiK stated that the losses caused by code vulnerabilities were the highest, exceeding $14 million; The wallet was hacked, resulting in over 8 million dollars being stolen. The most serious loss event in March was the exploitation of a smart contract vulnerability in the decentralized lending protocol Abracadabra.money on March 25th, resulting in a loss of approximately $13 million.
