Tether purchased 8888 BTC in the first quarter, with a total holding of 92647 BTC

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to @ EmberCN monitoring, USDT issuer Tether withdrew 8888 BTC (approximately $735 million) from Bitfinex on the first day of the first quarter of this year, which is the amount of Bitcoin purchased in that quarter. Starting from May 2023, Tether will allocate 15% of its company profits to regularly purchase BTC to enhance its reserves. As of now, Tether holds a total of 92647 BTC (approximately 7.64 billion US dollars), making it the 6th largest BTC wallet address. The average purchase price is approximately 41147 US dollars, and the current floating profit is 3.83 billion US dollars.
