Few things here: 1) money converges to one. If there are going to be stablecoin(s), one is going to win. It's not random that Tether is $144bn, USDC is $60bn and Gemini dollar is 52 million. One is going to win, likely either Tether or USDC. Ripe for regulatory capture and lobbyists to influence. 2) stablecoins are not stable, they are losing value as fiat loses value. It's a crypto con job. 3) whichever one wins, will likely be captured by the Fed/Treasury and turned into a CBDC.
