According to Golden Finance, SlowMist founder Cosine has released a response guide for computer poisoning issues and supplemented it in the Chinese version of the black manual. He pointed out that hacker groups often use social engineering to induce users to install malicious software or run malicious code, such as pretending to be investors, journalists, or HR for conference software induction, or disguising Telegram and Cloudflare verification to require users to run malicious code.
Cosine suggests that poisoned users take the following measures in a timely manner: transfer wallet funds, change important account passwords and check unknown device login status, use well-known antivirus software to kill viruses, reset computers if necessary, and perform antivirus on backup files. He emphasized that these attacks not only target Windows, but also Mac and some Linux systems.
