Plume, a fully integrated modular blockchain platform built for real-world assets (RWA), today announced a strategic investment from a fund managed by global alternative asset management company Apollo. Plume is constructing an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatible on-chain environment and full-stack infrastructure aimed at transforming traditional financial instruments, carbon credits, GPU computing power, collectibles, and other alternative assets into composable digital assets, integrating them into its RWAfi ecosystem to enable new on-chain functionalities.

This round of financing will help Plume accelerate the construction of its modular blockchain infrastructure, providing on-chain solutions for RWA to crypto-native users, traditional financial institutions, and asset issuers. As RWA continues to gain attention in both traditional and crypto markets, this investment will further propel Plume towards its mission of enabling users to access and utilize RWA seamlessly and flexibly, just like operating native crypto assets.

In Plume's RWAfi ecosystem, users can easily exchange, lend, earn yields, and speculate on RWAs. Additionally, the funding will support the ongoing expansion of the Plume ecosystem. Currently, the project has made positive progress in the testnet phase, with over 18 million wallet addresses participating and more than 200 protocols integrated.
