Many people feel that if they enter the market for new things too late, they will miss the opportunity.

Many people believe that if they enter a new field late, they will miss their opportunity. Is that true?

In fact, most of the time, most people are just beginning to enter an industry. For example, although Crypto has been developing for over a decade, I still believe it is just getting started. The difference lies in whether you are willing to truly immerse yourself in the field and learn.

Most people retreat before even trying; they see the barriers and only want to give up. Later, they complain about never encountering good opportunities, but the problem actually lies in their underlying mindset.

When Lei Jun started making phones, the market was already dominated by giants like Apple, Samsung, and Nokia, yet he still carved out a path and made Xiaomi a globally recognized brand. The recently popular Xiaomi electric vehicle is a testament to this; when Jensen Huang founded NVIDIA, the graphics processing market already had major players, yet he rose to the top with AI after more than 20 years; when Elon Musk entered the electric vehicle sector, Tesla faced century-old automotive companies like Toyota, GM, and Volkswagen. How many people thought Tesla had no chance? But looking back now, traditional car manufacturers have become the ones chasing after Tesla.

In the internet sector, when WeChat was launched in 2009, there were already mature social software like QQ and MSN in the market, but it ultimately became the core infrastructure of social interaction in China; when ByteDance launched Douyin in 2016, the short video field already had strong competitors like Kuaishou, YouTube, Instagram, and the widely used Yingke in China, yet Douyin still rose rapidly and even led the global short video trend.

WEB3 is the same. Eight years ago, when I entered the space, many people said Bitcoin had already reached 10,000 RMB, and that ordinary people had no chance at such a high price. But looking at the past few years, new models, new projects, and new opportunities emerge every year: DeFi, NFT, Gamefi, Layer2, Ordinals, RWA, AI, Depin, MeMe—every cycle has examples of latecomers turning the tables.

The key is not when you enter the market, but whether you are truly committed, whether you dare to seize trends amidst change, and whether you can find a trend that suits you.

I agree with @lufeieth's statement:

Currently, for more ordinary people, the most certain, largest, and most positively valuable growth trend of the era is: AI and WEB3;

If you want to defy the odds, why not try to take root here!
