Writing is wonderfully like this: starting from a narrow point often leads to broad expressions, while starting from a broad perspective can result in narrow outcomes. This is just like life; those who embark on a wide road often find themselves at a dead end, while those who start from a narrow path can reach distant horizons.

That’s why Jesus said, “You should enter through the narrow gate.” He warned us, “For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

I believe that whether in writing or in life, the correct starting point is to enter through the narrow gate. Do not be deceived by the wide gate; the road inside is not very long.
