Odaily Editorial Team Meme Operation Full Record (January 8)

Introduction: Making money from contracts but losing on Meme contracts (for small-cap Memes, who doesn't eat dumplings during the New Year~)

  1. Bought COOKIE without thinking; I first discovered cookie.fun in November but didn't buy any coins. Later, I bought some around 0.17, and when it rose to about 0.4, I added more, preparing to hold it long-term.

  2. On Monday, I saw an article discussing DeFi AI, so I bought some NEUR and ANON at noon, and later that night, I bought GRPH. Currently, NEUR is doing well, but GRPH and ANON have dropped again. However, ANON's market cap is approaching 200 million, so I'm looking for an opportunity to exit.

  3. In the past few days, I've been paying attention to: ALR, PPCOIN, and lexicon. It dropped yesterday, so I’ll look for an opportunity to get in later.

  1. BUZZ is currently considered the leader in DeFi AI agents. I got in after the opening rush at a market cap of 37 million, and later sold when it doubled. Today, BUZZ announced a partnership with zerebro for cluster communication infrastructure, and its market cap has risen to over 100 million. However, I personally believe it hasn't peaked yet. The upper limit of valuation in the AI Agent sector is mainly in frameworks and infrastructure. If BUZZ chooses to develop DeFi AI infrastructure, its market cap will at least reach 200 million dollars, and I remain optimistic.

  2. Besides BUZZ, I also hold HTERM in the DeFi AI space, which narrates a multi-chain AI agent on Solana and Base, with the founder being the Chief Data Scientist at ConsenSys, but it has yet to be valued.

In my understanding, AI sector tokens and projects have several core characteristics: "difficult to verify," "no one is using them," and "severe homogenization." Therefore, their prices are positively correlated with "the size of the narrative" and "project background," and unrelated to practicality or community.

So, one should either invest in the projects with the most attractive narratives (basically not considering price ceilings) or invest in low-priced projects that have a background or belong to core narratives.

In my article yesterday, “The Homogenization of AI Projects is Rising, Here are the Pros and Cons of This Week's Fast-Paced Overview,” you can find some of the second type of projects mentioned above. My current manual holdings include Aimonica, CATG, BUZZ, Focai, ELIZA, SANDY, and degenai (balancing narrative and cost-effectiveness).
