On September 18th, Web3 technology company OKX unveiled the updated version of its wallet product, featuring a new interface, expanded token discovery function, support for millions of cryptocurrencies and collectibles, and access to over 100 public chains and thousands of DeFi products.
The upgrade was announced at Token2049 Singapore, where OKX Chief Marketing Officer Haider Rafique and F1 driver Lando Norris discussed the intersection of technology, racing, and the on-chain world, emphasizing the importance of innovation and the adoption of new technologies.
Key details of the revamped OKX wallet include:
• Improved interface: The new layout provides a smoother user experience, simplifying asset management, token exchange, and discovery, offering users a secure and efficient gateway to a diverse on-chain ecosystem.
• Upgraded token discovery page: The new token page allows wallet holders to explore over a million different types of tokens, including popular memecoins on networks such as Solana, Base, Tron, and BNB, with customizable sorting options; OKX Wallet's DEX adds approximately 120,000 tokens weekly.
• Updated Marketplace: Streamlined user experience enables users to discover and purchase over three million digital collectibles, including Bitcoin Ordinals.
• Ultra-fast DEX: The wallet's DEX now provides industry-leading quote response time and transaction speed, retrieving and aggregating prices from nearly 500 decentralized exchanges in approximately 50 milliseconds on average.
• Optimized navigation page: Intuitive categorization enhances the overall experience, and third-party DeFi protocol aggregators can now be easily accessed in the "Discover" section.
The updated OKX wallet, as a unified self-custody portal, provides an on-chain experience across over 100 networks, including mainstream public chains such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and TON. Transparency and security remain crucial in this user experience update, with risk assessments conducted on over a million tokens and thousands of DeFi products.
