I recently watched Game 6 of the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Dallas Mavericks series. Although I am a fan of George, Leonard, Harden, and Westbrook, the Dallas Mavericks ultimately won the game. Why did the Mavericks win? In my opinion, there are two core reasons:

1⃣ Youth. Youth is capital - this is a simple fact in sports.

2⃣ Quick transition from offense to defense. When the opponent's shots are missed, they rapidly transition to attack, either driving hard to the basket or taking an open three-pointer. Simple, direct, and efficient.

The essence is simplicity. Many experiences from sports can be applied to life or work.

For example, in the fast-paced crypto industry where community consensus is valued, what is consensus? In my understanding, just like the offensive-defensive transition in basketball, consensus requires being simple, direct, and efficient.

If you are an entrepreneur, you need to clearly and directly express what you want to do, and take efficient action and execution. If people agree with your vision and actions, they will participate by contributing money or time - that is consensus.

So what consensus needs is not tricks or language skills. Simple, direct and efficient expression and action is the fastest path to building consensus.
